ok cool do you know why the rubber would have seperated like that is this common with kickers or does this happen with subs often or what is the deal with it

Ok here is the deal I am trying to get some response but nobody wants to tell me anything on here. I have some 8"l7s 3 of them I had a issue with one of them where I guess I dont know if it was hitting to hard or what but the rubber surround actually seperated from the speaker itself didnt rip...

oh and another note on this I am giving him a used sub and I am getting 2 brand new ones
