problem with the 2014 vw touareg is you cant change the headunit its built in with the car and yes we set it up for 2 way + rear + sub im going to check the rca plugs again to make sure we plugged them in right

ok everybody, we got the front speakers to come on fully and man do they sound good. however the rear speakers and subwoofer still wont turn on any ideas?

my uncle really doesn't want to run active and i cant blame him is there anyway we can set the pxa h800 up for full range on front and rears

i think the problem might be with the wire harness me and my uncle made or the rca plugs we'll have to check on friday when he's off from work

i dont have a alpine headunit its a factory volkswagen headunit

problem is im getting very little sound from the front and no sound from the back

the headunit is factory. what do you mean by set gains? the only gains i set where the gains on the amplifiers. is there any other way to gains like through the processor?

i just finished helping my uncle install a alpine pxa h800 in 2013 touareg when i turn on the power the sound only comes through the front speakers and its at a very low volume i can turn it up all the way and it's still low i already setup the speaker inputs and outputs i even tried the auto...

anybody else got any suggestions?

no i haven't mainly cause i don't know how to, but wouldn't my 12v be ok if it turned on my head unit and amplifier just fine? or is the processor just power hungry?

@keep_hope_alive ok i messed up by hacking out the fuse so i ordered another wire harness. as far as having everything hooked up right, yeah i had the the ai net cable plugged in between the h701 and cda 117, and i had the switches my headunit in the ext ap position. what do you think is it a...

i was making sure it works, cause there is nothing like installing something in your car, and then finding out it doesn't work, and then having to pull it out.
