I have a pair of DA M6 12" and id have to say their the best subs i've ever owned. I used to run L7's, but the m6's pound just as hard if not harder plus they can handle a bit more power & they have 3" coils plus they sound very clean
Well hmm last year alone i blew up 6 12" l7's yeah i know but warrenty's rock =P I tried many different experiments with them and they can handle power more so than 750 rms problem is abuse wise id have to say no. 4 of the 6 solobaric deaths i managed to do were from turning up the gain and...
Well anyone know anyone running one at 1 ohm? Is it safe? What kinda power can i expect from it you think?
4 ohm = 750 rms
2 ohm = 1500 rms
1 ohm = ????
Would the power output be the same as 2 ohm or would it jump up a lot?
I used them for a little under 3 weeks. Reason why i'm selling them is my Solobarics finally made it back from kicker. If it makes a difference I did purchase these from an Authorized RF dealer and I have the paperwork for it.
Oh yeah its a Pair of 12" Punch hx2 Duel 2ohm
Here are the specs...
well i had 2 l7's (im not sure if the specs are the same on l5) but i had several boxes sealed with them and i found 1.0 ~ 1.25 (per sub) to be the best. If you call kicker they will say like 1.5 and i wasnt to happy..I heard them in a .88 and it was nice as well but all in all i think it...
Well ive spent a few days on looking to see what i can do.. and here are my choices..
Option 1
3 Eclipse 12" Aluminum subs wired at a 2.67 load
Option 2
2 Diamond Audio m6 wired at a 2 ohm load
Option 3
Sell My bd1500.1 and get a 1 ohm stable able to dish out 1500-2000 rms so i can use 2...
What ratio is best and what do you use?
from what i understand i gathered this info:
2:1 = Good Sq
3:1 = Less Sq decent SPl
4:1 = More SPL based
5:1 = SPl
Which is the safest gain setting ratio? I was thinking on a 3:1...any comments?
Ok so i have a rf bd1500.1 and it was rated at 1731 RMS @ 14.4 volts. Thing is I am not running at 14.4 volts and im more at about 13.4 volts.. anyone know the breakdown on how much rms I would prolly be getting at 13.4 or maybe even 13.0 volts?
Hmm I don't think they can do that. Have you received a ticket for it yes? Im not sure about the laws where u live but auctioning off your stereo for that seems stupid...might just be to scare you perhaps?
