    How come my Comp set comes with 4 passive xovers? Should I go active?

    Curious until this day. I have a set of Seas Lotus Ref new verison and the set comes with a xover for mid and highs on each side, what is the purpose of this? Also, I'm thinking of going active but I'm not sure if my amp has enough power for the mids. Right now its running off 200 x 2 bridged...

    Yea, i kno the 7998 has some tuning option that I need to play around with but the CD7000 just overwhelms me and I'm running passive set up so don't really need 11 band of EQs, etc.
