ok i just got a 13w7, powered by a jl 1000/1 amp, and it is in a custom built ported jl box i bought from limitkid7. well when i crank up the volume my subs pops on certain frequencies...so basically it'll hit good on certain notes, and on one note it'll pop. I even turned the gain all the way...

only reason why i want jl is because i heard my friends and i liked 'em. I havent heard these other subs so i wouldnt know what to expect, i could buy a XXX and i dont know much about them so i dont know if i wouldl ike it or not. I wouldl ike to hear it first before i bought something word of mouth

well id like to do a little better than his w6v2's so im goin up with the 13w7..if i cant out do him with 1 w7, i'll just have to go for 2....but that'll be a little while from now since its like 1200 for 1 sub and amp...

yeah i plan on gettin the 13w7 and the jl 1000/1 to power it. I dont really know much of jl audio except that my friends w6v2's absolutley were insane. I hope that my 1 13w7 will sound just as good as the two w6v2s
