Is there an easy way to hook up an amp/sub to test how it sounds, before putting it in a car and running all of the wiring and whatnot?

I'll do whatever I need to, to try and get real low and deep bass out of it. I don't know about tuning at all yet, so I can't do much more than tell you that.

Okay I think to get the cu ft correct it needs to be a tad bigger, I think it's gonna end up being 36" wide, 8" tall, 12" deep. Again, wanting to port/tune it so that I can get it as deep/low as the sub will go.

Oh so you end up having your speaker wire going to both instead of on one? I have never tried that, might be something I should try out, I guess I was still getting 200 watts on the one and couldn't notice a difference because there wasn't one.

So just unhooking one of the subs from the amp would be able to test? I've done that in the past and it wasn't noticeably different. That's a bummer. If I get another amp, what will I need to do so that it all works in unison?
