    Loudness...

    +1 with the clipping. Few radios have variable loudness, so when the volume is over a certain level it cuts out. Also at moderate to high volume levels the sound gets boomy. I prefer a balanced sound

    Those subs like a lot of power, but they'll sound great with a clean 500 watts RMS a piece. If 500 watts is for the pair, I suggest you wait for an other amp. But these subs are amazing. If it's $250 for both, I suggest you pick them up!
