is it regular atrac3? because atrac3 plus is not compatible also, I know with the CD7k it only allows certain memory sticks to be used for music playback (blue or while Memory Stick Duo's is what it says in the online manual) not sure if it's the same with yours though

I've had the Eclipse CD7k since June, and it's done well...great on SQ it gets very hot though, and I don't particularly like the way it handles CD text and such...the physical looks of the stereo (large knob and such) don't bother me though I've been looking at possibly swapping it out and...

They do not come larger than 128 MB for regular non-pro non-duo memory sticks. Newegg.com sold them as of a couple of months ago. I don't know if they still do. I know that Wal-Mart of all places carries them in 128 meg size if you can't find one elsewhere.

There's a lot more work that goes into that than simply swapping out the engine...he'd also be looking at picking up a new transmission (which you mentioned), the entire rear would need to be swapped out for an 8.8, the electronics would all need to be upgraded, etc. He'd obviously need more...

because some people are willing to take a chance paying $450 > paying $700 at least when everything works out

the Eclipse has been in for a few months...I love it, but now I've had the 9815 sitting here as a paperweight and wanted to bump this back up to see if anyone has any ideas on what the problem could be
