Lookin' for some recommendations on a sub for a 1991 Jeep Cherokee. I don't really care for SQ, seein' this is just a "party" vehicle. Price isn't SO much of an issue, just as long as it's not $700 a sub, seeing I'm wanting to build with atleast 4 10's or 4 12's.

I was wondering what everyone's PERSONAL favorite, brand of subwoofers is? Personally, I am leaning towards HiFonics, but there are a few things I don't like about them, i.e. the blue LED lights? I mean COME ON, if we want light, we'll get neons.

I haven't had too many good experiences with Xplod's. I have popped too many. For me, they don't have enough power, nor sound quality.

If you wanted to be REALLY creative, you could cut out the back of driver/passenger seat, build a mount box, mount it on the back of your seat, it would be pretty neat, no one has done that before, that I know of. Also, it would be a good seat warmer.
