    Headrest Monitor Install

Yea, I cut the X into it. I've got a friend coming over to help with my alarm install this weekend so I'll see what he suggests. He used to work at a car stereo install shop so he knows how to do everything. Also, somehow in the process of moving into my new place, I seem to have lost one of...

Just installed new 7" flip out.. DVD, iPod

I haven't had any so far, but only had unit about a week. My roommate burned Talladega Nights in MPEG4 format onto a DVD for me to try out. It worked, and it only looked like it was using about 1/4 of the DVD, so I can fit a couple more movies on there. The only problem is, when I turned off...

Just installed new 7" flip out.. DVD, iPod

Thanks. I bookmarked that page, but I haven't decided if I want to use it yet. I like how you can still turn it off like if the cops pull me over or something. I know I could just hit the close button, but if he said he saw the video going i can just flip the switch and say you must've seen this...

Thanks for the heads-up with the knob. I'm going to use the remote when I can to make the knob last. Know of any way to replace it when it does go bad?

    Headrest Monitor Install

No, there is not any kind of metal that goes in there. There is the two metal things that go down into the seat, but they do not go far enough into the headrest to be able to attach too. Also, I think I would have to remove most of the foam to get to that, and I don't want to mess up my headrests.

    Headrest Monitor Install

I started installing headrest monitors on my 99 3.2 TL MBP. I followed this DIY http://www.audioinmotion.com/index.asp?PageAction=Custom&ID=14 but when I get down to the 5th and 6th picture, it says to screw the bracket into the metal frame that should be in the headrest. In my car, there...
