I said it was my personal opinion, yes it does sound good for "entry" level sub, ive herd alot better for same amount of money. SQ can be diffrent to alot of people.

It will get decently loud, nothing special. But if your not use to loud setups then its not bad. Everyone will have opions on SQ but my personal feelings on the w1 line in SQ arent high. Very good starter sub, give it power and it will give you noise.

The w3v2 is a horrible speaker? Did you intall or somone who had them install them wrong. There shouldnt be any popping on a good install, the sub gets decently loud, and have good SQ, IMO. Everyone has a diffrent taste on what sounds good to them. The best recomendation would be to go out and...

a efficient 10 would be nice. If you can find a 12 that likes that kind of power that would be nice too. Make sure you get a box that is the right specs to whatever subwoofer you decide to go with.
