lol... well i wasnt sure! so the ones that come with 2 strand can be used as 2 different wires then correct?

okay, so i just got 2 d4 subs and im going to wire it down to 1 ohm. i already looked up how to wire it down to 1 ohm but my question is most speaker wires come with 2 strands(1 positive,1 negative), do i cut the 2 wires down the middle and use only one strand to wire it up or do i just twist...
