I adjusted the low pass to 0db and used the hu (Pioneer DEH-P6500) bass but it sounded flat, no punch. I listen to music with a lot of bass so I will play it safe and keep it at 4db. Thanks anyway.

It was your amp, Im have an sony amp as well the 1000w model and it's no good. Im no expert but I will not by any car audio by sony ever again. I've read here that only the older es models are good.
