Thanks for the replies. As a note, this is a very lightweight vehicle with space constraints. Large 2nd battery not an option. Gotta be a way to rig a 9 volt in the line safely????

I have a hot rod that is equipped with a battery cut-off switch. This switch is turned off every time the vehicle is put away. It is designed to completely cut off all power runnning throughout the vehicle. Problem is that all the presets on my head unit are erased each time. I would rather not...
