did you really ground loop the RCA's? if you did and that didnt work, make sure they are SOLID, and if they are ^yea, check your grounds

they are good decks no doubt the RCA output noise is the only real problem ive had with mine, wich was also easily fixed by ground looping:)

it seems like your talking about max watts, so RMS your probably talking 200ish, right? if thats the case i don't see why there would be a problem with 14gauge. but you might as well get 12 or even 10 if you plan on upgrading.

^he would not be driving without an alternator if the fuse blew... he wouldn't be getting current through the big 3 wire, but since in a big 3, you are supposed to be adding wire and not replacing that wouldn't happen. it would just travel back through the original stock wire, unless he replaced it.

what kind of equipment

well i don't think my speaker wires are grounding out somewhere because i have all really solid connections sealed off with electrical tape, not to mention its all new speaker wire... but yeah im going to try a different amp when i get around to it... thanks alot for the input. will keep you posted.

ugh man, i just swapped the RCA's around like i said i was going to... and nothing much better happened, i got a little sound out of the right rear deck speaker, but not nearly the volume level the front ones are playing at, and the rear left was just nothing. this leaves me to believe its the...

the amp has always been 4 channel... on the back of my HU i have outputs for SW(sub), Front outputs and Rear outputs, all now taken.
