Mine are 2 inch holes. Run some electrical tape or something around the tweeter housing enough to make it fit snug or couple strips of duct tape on the backside taped to the back of the door panel.

JL develops their own stuff in house. Lots of brands just buy parts from a catalog and slap their own paint color and logo on them. If you can develop stuff in house and make it as cheap as those other brands go knock yourself out

I haven’t heard the Strato comps but the Meso are great I would pick them out of the three.

My V series comps sound good. Crossover isn’t any cheaper than other sets in the under $150 category. Better than inline crossovers that Alpine and Morel use on their budget comps.
