Snapped a few on my phone real quick earlier when I was leaving to drive to Louisville. Haven't had much time lately to work on them . I'll get some better ones up here soon.. I am hoping to finish the bondo work later this week and get the primer on.

    enclosure question (fiberglass)

It really all depends on what you're trying to accomplish. Some people like to use one, some people like to use the other. If you are needing to be able to reshape it easily, then chicken wire would probably work best for you. On the other hand, if you are trying to get really nice smooth...

Nope! Not at all... I've already shaped the rear section of both door panels, I still have to do the inserts, but I am waiting until I have all the bondo and shit done to make sure it lines up perfect.f

Yeah, when you're looking at the doors open they look like they stick out really far, but once you are in the car with the doors shut I think it looks pretty sweet.. I could've recessed them back a little further towards the front of the car, but I wanted them to be as close to the mids as possible.

Well, there is a metal lip that sticks out all the way around the opening.. I didn't want to cut into the metal (although I'm sure it would've been safe to do so, I just like to try keeping the car in tact as much as possible) Plus, the area in the trunk on the backside of the metal between the...

Yes, the midrange/tweet will be sealed off from the midbass. Well, its pretty much impossible to fit 3-way comps up front in a 2-door stick shift, so what I meant by keeping it looking as stock as possible was keeping the original lines from the door panels, and covering the panels with leather...

I sanded down some of the rough edges, and then put the final shaping on the opening for the mdf rings.. I used a handheld router/trimmer to give the rings a nice edge to them. I should have done this before I mounted them, but I forgot.. I them used a dremmel to round off the backs of the rings...

I trimmed the edges of the panels and got them to line up right by leaving the fiberglass on the door and tracing the bottom of the door panel onto the fiberglass.. When I made the molds, I outlined the edges and trimmed them down also.. That way whenever I finished off the real panels I just...

Ok, I wanted to keep the door panels looking as stock as possible, so here's what I did. I taped off the stock panels and sprayed them with pam.. I taped over the pocket, because originally I was going to attempt to get the speakers further forward, but after making it I realized that it wasn't...
