Look into the Cadence iA7. That was what was recommended to me for my Mag v4 I just bought. Does 500+ watts at 4ohm. Though I will be watching this thread closely. Looking for almost the exact same amp recommendations (500-800w @ 4ohm for a SQ setup).

Hey all, I just picked up a used Mag v4. It's dual 2 ohm voice coils. Can run 1000w RMS. I'm looking for a good, cheaper amp to power them. Budget is around 300, amp either needs to put out 1k at 1ohm stable, or can be a 2x500 at 2ohm. Or 1x1000 at 4ohm. I figure finding a good quality 500wx2...
