    Help in Dallas

This is a follow up thread to my thread titled: Problems that noone can answer 2009 tahoe LTZ. Looking for someone experienced with car audio to try to help me figure out why my system sounds so terrible. I was told it has everything to do with the signal processing conflict between the JL...

Problems that noone can answer :( 2009 tahoe LTZ

I am going to go back and do a 'face to face', however, it is the shop owner that I did business with, and the same guy who was telling me to come back later... just really bad business imo. I'm pretty blown away by the whole deal, but I am going to ask if he will take the equipment back and...

If anyone is in Dallas and can lend a hand, I would be extremely appreciative. You have to hear it to realize how bad it sounds.

I believe he actually had the amp bridged to the focals and the factory running off the factory amp.

I was thinking about just taking out the cleansweep and using an alpine PXE-H650 to process the signal, although I'm not sure if this will fix my problem or not. The guy at the place I went today had his avalanche (2008) hooked up to a JL HD600.4, with the factory bose speakers in the back and...

Should just be 100 watts rms @ 4 ohms, since the amp is hooked up to the fronts and rears.

I'm not sure that tuning it is the problem, I mean it sounds so bad, you wouldn't believe it. Just completely flat, completely. I really just want to rip the cleansweep out of there, and see what it sounds like with just the factory radio off the amp, and go from there. I listened to 3...

Problems that noone can answer :( 2009 tahoe LTZ

I did call him and tell him it didnt sound right, and his reply was that it sounded fine when it left the shop, and that he was too busy today, but I should bring it by so he can change the frequency on the amp, which I don't really think is the problem..

No, the whole install was done so sloppily and not the way I wanted it, I don't even want to go back. For example, the cleansweep was just thrown in under the center console, not even mounted, the bass knob was not mounted where I requested, and the tweeters for the dyns were mounted into the...

I'm guessing he used the crossovers on the amp, unless there in one on the cleansweep? not sure.

The Dyn's are in the front, they are in factory location, they have physical crossovers mounted in the doors, the rears are still bose, but they are hooked up to the JL amp as well. I believe the factory amp is still hooked up to the center channel speaker (on the dash) and the two rear...

Problems that noone can answer :( 2009 tahoe LTZ

Hi everyone, I hope this is the proper location for this thread, I'm having a few issues with the install in my car, and I'm trying to get to the bottom of it, so I can enjoy my system, and hopefully do some more work on it. I spent about 5 grand at a local car audio shop on an install...

    Hello

Hey all, new member here. I'll be providing pics and information as my project unfolds. I just picked up a 2009 tahoe ltz and I've had some work done, but need some of the stuff fixed, and I'm going to add some more. I've had quite a bit of trouble getting answers on some of my problems as...
