the guy at the audio shop put a ground wire on a bolt thats on the bracket that hold the alternator and ran it to the chassis. it is even doing anything?

i will have one put it, why wasnt this happening before i put in the new amp and how come after everything looses power nothing will turn on until hours later and how come if the remote turn on its giving enough voltage for the components to stay on how does it have enough power to turn...

nothing goes into protect everything loses power and i didnt have this problem with the first amp,the amp i sent back was a gto 752 and the new amp they sent me is a gto 504ez cause they didnt have any of the 752, and guy was i was taking to at jbl said i can bridge the 504 for a a little more...

About a week ago i took out the midbass amp to send it back to jbl so they can send me a new one, today I put in the midbass amps and everything was good, it played and there was no more pop from the door speakers, while I was driving and listening to it everything shut off, all the amps...

Yeah, I wanted to make sure it's safe to pull the fuses cause its easier then disconncting the positive from the battery.

I have to change a amp and I have the power from the battery connected to a distribution block with two fuses in it, can I pull out the fuses do what I have to do and then put the fuses back in? Nothing will spark or anything right? Thanks in advance

i notice that when i set the 31.5 hz to -12db the bass is cleaner and/or subs recover faster but with it at 0db the bass is louder and has more of a punch but not as clean. whats the reason for this. dont know if this matters but the crossover chip is the eqx is 33hz.

na the speaker wire is all wrapped in electrical tape, i think it the amp itself, i wrapped the rcas and it didnt help i also switched the rcas and that didnt help,i will do more testing tomorrow, i going to go right from the radio to the amp that runs the door speakers and see if its still there.
