    Thanks, I think I'll just do that. I dont have the tools or the place to be cutting MDF while living at my dorm. One more question, are 6.5 generally better than 6x9?

    Thanks.. and does the MDF sit ontop of the rear deck? Wouldnt that cause the speaker to be a little too high and look arkward? Also what thickness MDF should I use?

    I already have 6.5 Eclipse coaxials from my old car. My new car now has 6x9 in the rear, is there anyway to make the 6.5" fit into the 6x9? Thanks, Jesse
