A friend of mine has a ford ranger with some type of vinyl waves down the side, needless to say, he wants them removed. I have removed some smaller vinyl stripes before but nothing this size. How do you recomend that I remove it? Heat gun? Acetone? Scraper? all of the above? Thanks in advance...

Doesnt anyone else have any input.....Im only really worrying about the side skirts....Im not going to mold the front and rear bumpers incase i ever need to remove them for engine work. But the sideskirts i want molded for a cleaner look. come on guys....help a noob out...

Sorry It took me awhile to get back to this thread. No I have done a couple sub boxes, a dash, and some other little projects here and there. I dont know about having steal side skirts? Sounds alittle off the wall..... I was only planning on molding the skirts. I was actually going to drill...

Well if you followed my "crash and burn" thread you know that I slid into a hill and cracked my front bumper. I decided not to buy another stock bumper and to buy a full body kit instead. I like the look of molded side skirts so i figured I would attempt to mold them.. Is there any information...

Thanks for the input guys...I guess ill be taking the car to a shop to check the fuse...Once again thanks for the input....And I still need to put those pics of the sensor up.....

I dont really know anything about fuses....How would i know if it was blown?.....or could it have just been knocked loose when i hit the hillside?

Yes....I still need to take pictures...Ill post tomorrow(I had soccer practice tonight) but I just caught the corner of my bumper and I think thats why my airbag didnt go off...Once again ill post pics tomorrow...

"Its all relative!" thanks but that doesnt really help....Could the wire for the wipers have been knocked lose? Could i have blown the fuse by turing them on and off......Any other ideas please let me know

No my wipers dont work at all...The piece hanging down, looks like it has a spring on it for a pressure sensor, but im not definate on that....It tore that side of my bumper off and that piece was just hanging there so im doubting its the airbag sensor but i dont know....I decided to go ahead...

Well it was one cold day in West Virginia when I went to make a turn onto a back road. Some company was re-renovating a park on the side of the road and sand had drifted into the road. My tires didnt catch anything and i slid into an embankment. No major damage at all (I was only going 30) well...
