Current events discussion

We were just talking about that earlier today, Clinton took out narco gangs, and Obama raided multiple factories and deported over 3 million people. However, although Trump is not doing the same thing as harshly, it's still 100x's worse because it's Trump.
I was in an unit that participated in the (Clinton Era) Columbian exercise and I have to say we didn't ***** foot around like Trump is. We parked an aircraft carrier group off their coast.

Reminds me of how kids in cages was horrible under Trump but ignored under Obama. It's almost like there is a seperate set of standards for the 2 guys, but that couldn't be possible. There must be another explanation.

I just watched Kash Patel. Do you guys know he's Indian??? WTF, Rachel Maddow confirmed that Trump is a White Supremist. So confused.

Also confusing, Kash Patel was on FoxNews discussing the assassination. But when I did a search for Patel on liberal networks, I just get critiques of Patel, how Trump/Patel fvcked up the investigation (which is odd since they have the guy), Patel may get fired, etc. It's almost like there is an alternate reality that runs parallel to the one in which I exist. Crazy thing is I posted @Rockrz, that I can't take FoxNews's word for the shooter's BF's role in the assassination, but if other networks aren't really going to cover the assassination, then what am I left with?

The slow ones don't understand the new testament has replaced the old testament. View attachment 68031

So they are quoting a covenant that is outdated and no longer in effect.

Here's what they get:

So "God" got it wrong the first time God wrote the book, and had to do a product recall and rewrite?
Seems odd for an ominipotent being who knows all that was, is, and ever will be, huh?

Well, they just found a bomb under a Fox News van. Two were arrested.
Someone must have thought they were homeless.
On Fox, it's OK to kill homeless people.

Yet Brian Kilmeade still has a job.
Funny how that works, huh?

Idk, seems messed up to me he'd say that, idk what the context was but seems strange he'd say that. Still doesn't negate the point of what you quoted from me, either, but you won't recognize the problem with violence on the left against their own people of their own nation, because they've lost the logical argument. It's a fair point to criticize him, but it's not fair when you don't call out the numerous democrats basically calling for violence against trump supporters, all the comparison to Nazis and all that.

Mmmm this is some USDA certified grade-CIA propaganda:

"Donald Trump’s allies are attempting to minimize the former president’s reported praise of Nazi dictator Adolf Hiter, and discredit John Kelly after the former White House chief of staff went on the record with multiple outlets regarding his concerns about Trump’s fascist ambitions.

This week, the retired general told The New York Times that Trump fit the definition of a fascist, and would rule like a dictator if reelected. In a separate interview with The Atlantic, Kelly elaborated on past assertions that Trump expressed admiration for Hitler."

So a retired general is calling trump a dictator like Hitler, so that means it would be ok for the military to overthrow trump? Or that means it's ok to kill trump and his supporters, right? Am I missing some kind of logic @RobGMN , or is the retired general just trying to be a comedian? The US went to war with Hitler, yet, a retired general is saying trump admired Hitler and wants to rule like a dictator, so what's the point of saying all of that, Rob, being that trump has nearly been killed and a fireman was who supported trump and now Charlie Kirk is dead from being assassinated by someone who thought he was fighting fascism? Am I missing a link in my logic chain here?

It illustrates that all this bullshit virtue signaling by the right about "boo hoo cancel culture" and "boo hoo the left is so violent" is just that: BULLSHIT.

The right sure seem hypocritical about poretty much everything they CAN be.
Trump calls everyone he doesn't like every insult he can think of (which with his dementia-riddle brain is really the same few over and over), but the second he gets called weird, the right is crying "boo hoo" that it's not nice.

Buncha' whiny turds.

Who's been killed by right wing violence?

"According to the report, scientists used the CRISPR/Cas9 gene-editing tool to take genes from the water bear that produce shielding proteins and insert them into an artificially cultured (a distinction the team claims made the experiment legal) human embryonic cells. This reportedly allowed the cells to survive “lethal exposure to X-ray radiation.” Okay, then."

"While it may not be the very next stage, the eventual goal is super soldier. By creating these water bear-infused cells and placing them within new blood cells, the tardigrade genes could help stave off acute radiation sickness, along with potentially helping to ward off other diseases.

Of course, scientists claiming they can alter human genetics via the genes of a water bear puts us in an entirely new world of science."
