@RobGMN

See this is a series 6th order for a 3000w rms massive 12. Iirc it's 3000w rms. The reason we do this instead of just ported is one to be able to aim all the bass inside of the cabin and two is to just make it louder in a narrow spectrum, which isn't terribly narrow not as narrow as people might think:

Ah idk if you can see that or not I forget, I'm too lazy to pull it off my PC lol

So you can see his sub is protected inside of the 6th so he can put shit in his trunk without damaging the sub and it's hard to steal the system too, and it's louder in some ways than ported.

Can you share the box layout?

You said it's a ported box that is louder than ported. I'm thrown by that concept.
Could you share a freq analysis on it?

OK. Cool.

I asked you to tell me how your math differes from the math that others use to design boxes arounf TS parameters, and you didn't share.

What is special about your math? How does your math make a better box than the standard calculations used in box design? How has the math changed in the past decade, two decades, three decades?
Legit and honest question, based on what you said above.
T/s parameters aren't always the most useful, t/s parameters can tell you the nature of a woofer but t/s are measured at like 1 watt which doesn't really help in some ways, like the t/s can't really always tell you the exact box specs you need because they don't represent what the woofers are always doing at full power. I design more around what the customer wants with the vehicle cabin effects and positioning taken into consideration. Idk how my math differs from others, idk their processes lol, I'm just telling you basically the only thing I use winisd for is port velocity. Usually sub companies give good enough sub recommendations for box size that I combine that with the t/s and it's easy to figure it from there. I have not found a guaranteed way to turn t/s directly into a box design, because t/s are like a lab measurement, not real world playing. That massive is 3000w so how much is applying 1 watt to the woofer going to help me? It's limited info; I need to know what the woofer is doing with 3000w applied. I always go with what's proven, like manufacturer box testing and recommendations and work around that, and then design and tune it to meet the needs of the customer as best as possible. I'm not going to sit here and teach you how to do that from beginning to end, no, lol.

Box design for that 6th:

No, it's a series 6th order, tends to be louder in a narrower band than ported, but a series 6th isn't as narrow as people think, you can design a series 6th to be musical enough is what I mean, if you do the cubic feet and tuning and port area of each chamber right. I think that box was tuned to 32 and 64 hz, something like that. A series 6th order is just a ported box inside of a ported box.

Extra FYI some t/s parameters are dog shit too and aren't correct, so like you have to just understand sound and what you're doing. I've found several woofers before posted with clearly incorrect t/s because they're mathematically impossible (Memphis was one I found with Vas iirc, there's been others). Even when I did work with DD for their customers, their woofer t/s can vary from what they even put on their site, because I used to get sent verified t/s on woofers when I asked for them, if they had them. T/s aren't always as solid as you think, and that's why I tend to appreciate manufacturer box recommendations, and you better hope they're correct too and not BS. Skar is another company I've found several questionable t/s parameters from. With that said, the woofer performed well when I found the correct ones through t/s reverse engineering math, which you can do with winisd if you have enough correct parameters to calculate the incorrect ones.
