If Chauvin didn't intervene, George was about to have the ride of a lifetime. I blame the shop for calling the cops over some counterfeit money. Chauvin was clearly not an expert in what he was doing.
Had he not gone and pretended he had a clue, he'd be free, living his best life.
Instead, he broke the law and department policy, and it ended in murder.
