No, I was repeating Thxone's claim about how Trump was going to make things better.
Thxone claimed that under Trump prices would drop, and because of that, wages would go down and companies would have to lay people off.

I simply questioned how that would be considered a successful change to our economy.

But I'm interested in this concept of yours that people didn't get evicted, foreclosed, etc, on properties under Trump, and how Trump will prevent it in the future.

If I simply stop paying my mortgages, Trump is going to make it so I get to keep my houses?
How?
You know what I meant when I said "an issue." Sure, people were getting evicted. That's normal and will never go away. However, less people were getting evicted under Obama and Biden. Look it up! The only time it slowed down, under Biden, is when he made it a law where people couldn't get evicted. So, if you owned a rental, and the renters quit paying, you had to eat the costs. The renters would tear up the house and leave. For over a year, you had to let them stay there for free, so you lost your butt over it.

Again, say something bad about how Kamala ran something?

So you expect things to go bad under Trump, then HOPEFULLY rebound.

Things were bad under Trump and rebounded under Biden.
But Biden is a failure?
Seriously, why do you lefties think lower prices are bad????

If something cost $100 during inflation and people only buy one of those things is it not better if that same item cost $50 with no inflation and people buy 3 of those items. Cost of manufacturing the item during inflation is $50 with no inflation $15. Who's winning here? Looks like both the consumer and retailer.

You do know that people were unable to pay rent because of COVID-caused layoffs, business closures, and the like. Yes?
And that Biden's efforts to prevent evictions were in order to help prevent a rapid and extreme downward spiral of society. Kind of like when they freeze the stock markets to prevent collapse?
And that the SCOTUS squashed the moratorium almost as soon as it was in play?

According to you, price reductions equal lower wages and layoffs.

Tell me how that's a win.

Your terribly simplistic example would work if the financial changes and differences were that extreme, but they aren't. And never have been.

If the retailer is keystoning their costs, then they would sell the item for $30 if costs dropped to $15.
Selling one at $100 with a $50 cost would yield a $50 profit.
Selling three at $90 total with a $45 total cost would yield a $45 profit.

You can see why your example is not great.

Maybe try again with a real-world example that reflects COGS, retail pricing, GPM, and sales volume, and that shows what you were wanting to describe?

Only you could take 45min to respond and argue an example. That's all you do is argue, man stfu. You're stupid. You have nothing useful to say.

Well dude still has power over the gop
I hope Trump can effectively castrate Sleepy Mitch.

How does my response time change the fact that your example was incorrect on a business level and a mathematical level?

You literally created a scenario where over a 66% reduction in COGS, that results in a tripling of sales, reduces the total profit.

YOUR example proves you wrong yet again, but I'M the stupid one?

So, back to your claim about a reduction of prices yielding reduced wages and layoffs.
How is that a good thing?

And if you have time, can you provide that proof of a god? ANY god?

It's not ******* real Rob, it's an example. You are arguing irrelevant shit. You have a problem. You're stupid. Just stfu.

If prices drop, people will not get laid off. that was proven under Trump's last term.

Trump's plan is to create an economy where people can afford rent. Part of this is by lowering the cost of overall living. If you remember right, people getting evicted was only an issue under Biden and Kamala.

Again, you are doing that thing where you are reaching for bad things to point out about Trump. Let me see you point out poor leadership under Kamala.
It was an issue under Biden because when we reopened the economy, people didn't instantly get jobs.

Yes. It's an example.
An example that doesn't work to support your narrative.

Although it actually DOES, since your narrative is that a reduction of prices will hurt the economy by knocking down wages and causing layoffs.

Regardless, you obviously had a point to make. And, I'm sure you wouldn't have just pulled the idea out of thin air, without having a working knowledge, or a real-world example.
Instead of hurling insults, just hurl your real-world example, or personal working knowledge of your claim.
