It was emergency coverage. However, in healthcare, when we ignore non-emergent healthcare issues, they often become emergent, so it gets covered one way or another.

It's clearly Biden's fault that illegal immigration exploded during his term. We all watched it unfold in real time and it was no accident.

OK. Emergency coverage. So we either provide coverage, we make the HC providers eat the cost (which they are not obligated to do), or we let them die in the streets like a 3rd-world country.
But we are not just giving Medicaid to all of the illegal immigrants that are here. Nor are we giving SNAP, as has been previously declared here.

To what do we attribute the major spike in illegals that happened under Trump?
The administration prior, or the administration following?

Is that an accurate graph? Where are they pulling the info from? We weren't housing "illegal immigrants" en masse at hotels under Trump. There weren't migrants sleeping in the streets under Trump.

We don't go off voter registration, we go off of votes. Additionally, you have no way of knowing if voter registration accurately represents voters. Did Joe Rogan rush over DMV to change from registered democrat. I certainly didn't bother changing from independent to GOP. Trump made gains in nearly every demographic; did those people go change their party affiliation? Or maybe it's just the nerve of the DNC to trot out an incompetent person like Kamala and the blue voters couldn't stomach the idea of voting for a person incapable of speaking intelligently.

Does EVERYONE vote the party line? I'm sure not. But I'm sure that a very strong percentage do. Why wouldn't they? For stats, only 6% crossed party lines in 2022, and it was almost a split, making it self-canceling as far as the final tallies are concerned.

I do laugh at the "incompetence" of Kamala. Meanwhile, Trump picks a talking head from Fox "News" as Secretary of Defense, a man being investigated for *** trafficking and statutory **** as Attorney General, and a man who thinks vaccines are a scam and that he is going to end the Chronic disease epidemic" in two years, as Secretary of DHHS, and a CEO of a fracking company to head up the DOE.

Understood, but registered voters can vote, which means the Republicans are outnumbered. If we had compulsory voting, and everyone voted the party line, the Republicans would would lose.

No I think people will take job cuts. I was very clear about what I think will happen when this inflation comes down.

But that means Trumps plan to reduce inflation will hurt the country and the economy.
That sounds like a bad plan.

Oh, so you DID read it and it DOES make sense to you... when you want to "insult" someone. Same old Rob.

I know that a simple brain thinks that when things cost more people get paid and that means the economy is better and that is the extent at which you comprehend inflation. However, when things jump up 10x in cost and people only make... let's use your example, 4% more than they did then wages don't keep up with cost in the long run. This is why people have depleted their savings. Or did you ignore that fact too? Sure, employers can afford to pay employees 4% more while there is inflation but when it goes away so does that 4% cushion. They are not going to want to pay that and people will be let go.

On the backside, prices come down to more affordable levels and now people can go back to spending like normal, stabilizing the economy. More jobs will open up because companies will be able to pay employees non-inflated wages. People will be able to put money back into savings.

So unemployment goes up, and people pay less for goods, but get paid less, too. A net-zero benefit for them.
I'm trying to find the measure of success in that plan.
