Your comment on the vaccers vs anti vaccers is correct. The biggest problem is when a person is forced to do something when facts don't support the reason to do it. Countless people lost jobs because of a false narrative. That narrative being "The virus stops with the vaccine." If these people didn't get vaccinated, then you pose a great danger to everyone else, so they will now lose their job. Many people have also lost their lives because they were forced to take the vaccine. A vaccine that was not properly tested.

The NEWS organizations are absolutely responsible for helping to spread a false narrative from a politician. For example, they wouldn't tell the true story behind vaccines. They didn't share the fact that a vaccine will not prevent you from getting the virus. It will only help your body know how to fight it. By not doing so, allowed the vaccine supporters to carry on with their false information to scare people into getting vaccinated. ALL NEWS organizations have access to doctors and could get the correct info. Instead, they went on live TV and repeated how only the vaccine will stop the spread. If they would have told the truth and called out the politicians lies, then politicians would think twice before starting another lie.

I never supported mandates. And just about anybody could have used the religious exemption. The "the vax stops covid in its tracks" was literally debunked in real time by pro & anti vaxxers alike. If somebody got the vax based on that bit of information, then I have to question why they didn't do a minimal amount of research.

MSNBC certainly pushed a very exaggerated version of the vax's effectiveness, but most outlets went with "reduces death/hospitalization" which is what was on the CDC website.

That isn't what I got from what you posted. You claimed social programs are the beginning of communism. Social programs also exist in Capitalist societies, yet nobody seems to equate social programs to Capitalism. Nobody is claiming Russia is Capitalist because it has central banking & fiat currency.

Not really. It would be redistribution of wealth (means of production) when first enacted, but once in place there shouldn't be wealth to redistribute. Socialism redistributes labor. In practice socialism would probably devolve into Capitalism.

Socialism doesn't devolve into capitalism...government grows and grows until it fails...there's more than enough of track record to prove that...

Unless of course you buy into the "it wasn't done right" narrative...
