Not sarcasm; he has better sources (at least in his mind) than anybody else on here. Just like you or I would take CDC data over a "unpublished" study that hasn't passed peer review, he has his hierarchy of sources. Who would you trust if you were Buck's shoes: Rachel Maddow, the CDC, FoxNews, Tucker Carlson or beings from a higher plane of existence? Seems like an easy answer to me.
