I’m posting that article because NY Times is subscription only.

Interesting, because I cannot locate either the CDC article or the NYT article. The NYT link in Hotair's article actually links to a story about Covid numbers are down. Nothing about 1/3 of covid deaths weren't covid deaths. The best way to square it away is compare excess deaths to covid deaths and see if there is a big skew.

Interesting, because I cannot locate either the CDC article or the NYT article. The NYT link in Hotair's article actually links to a story about Covid numbers are down. Nothing about 1/3 of covid deaths weren't covid deaths. The best way to square it away is compare excess deaths to covid deaths and see if there is a big skew.

That's old ground. What really happened is sometimes they counted people who died with covid as dying from covid. CDC published articles about how deaths are/should be counted and recorded, when this information first came out.

They counted people who died and tested positive for covid, where covid had nothing to do with the cause of death. Birx even said that way back; they were counting anyone who died and tested positive for covid as a covid death, regardless if they were infected or not and counting them even if covid had nothing to do with their death. That’s a fact.

Jim- The NY Times said covid deaths over counted by 30%. Look at those 3 articles that took me about 30 seconds to find. Anyone who isn’t drowning in state propaganda knew that a long time ago.

Did you read the links contained within? The writer says CDC data suggest a 30% overcount, but doesn't explain how he came up with this "suggestion." I looked at the CDC data linked in the NYT article and don't see where he got those numbers and it is not something that is specifically stated by the CDC. The CID article shows a 30% overcount at 2 VA hospitals.
