In this instance the bridge is a physical twisting of the wires together and the solder is for structure. Anything else, cunt?

Here, I'll help you out a little:
"A bridge circuit is a topology of electrical circuitry in which two circuit branches (usually in parallel with each other) are "bridged" by a third branch connected between the first two branches at some intermediate point along them."

Explain where, in the picture I posted, the THIRD wire (branch) is that connects the first two.
