Everyone loves affordable amps.... so we decided to start working on our Theatcon Series amps. When I started this project we looked at using off the shelf boards with upgraded components but this idea did not sit well with me. So I changed the project direction and have been working on our own design. (After all our company slogan is "We use Better Components"). The goal with these is to offer lots of power and keep the retail price well below our Recon series. We will offer 3 mono amps (500x1, 1000x1 and 1800x1) and a 4 Channel Amp (100x4). Here are a few pics of the heatsink we are currently re tooling (yes I took a retired heatsink and made changes as it was way less money). I love the old school look with modern components and the design offers GREAT cooling! We should see working models to our door in about 3 weeks. Let me know your thoughts. -Chris

We are still working out final details but the 1800.1D should be around $299 Delivered and the 100.4 should be around $199 Delivered! -Chris

wow sounds good. was looking on your site and looking at the amps and i see they do good on 14.4 volt ( meaning they are underrated ) so these sould be the same right ?

so the 1800.1 should do more at 1ohm at 14.4v .

i have been looking around for about 2000rms at 1ohm at 14volt.
