They nominated Biden and he blew out Trump. POTUS limitations will never go away. The Republicans are getting tired of his act. Saunders didn't even mention his name in her rebuttal. Saunders 2024?

He may be part of the solution, but flying private jets around is certainly part of the problem. You can't say "you all have to give up your gas guzzling muscle cars and monster trucks, but I'm still flying a private jet around when I'm not burning a ton of fuel on my private yacht that's bigger than all the houses you've ever lived in combined. Bill Gates carbon footprint dwarfs the carbon footprint of everybody on my entire block. This goes beyond hypocrisy.

Watched the SOTU "highlights;" it's about time to scrap that format. Congress booing and shouting down a sitting POTUS - just highly unprofessional.

Yes. That is the balance. If your private jet use results in a net reduction, then it's a win. Sacrifice the few for the many, or something of the sort.
But if you are promoting the concept, then you should LIVE the concept too. Like, reduce the carbon footprint of your software empire and your personal empire.

I'm also all for tradeoffs when possible. Like "You got an electric car? Good. Now swap out all of your household lighting for LED so your power consumption doesn't change". And stuff like that.

They don't do it Joe Citizen either. We have these idiots showing up to each others protests yelling at one another like kids on a playground arguing over a game of football. The childish behavior is embarrassing but it seems to be what the base wants. It's only a matter of time until fights break out in the halls of Congress.
