Can’t access equalizer on kenwood dmx706s

I’m trying to change the equalizer on my kenwood dmx706s and the equalizer and many other audio settings are greyed out. I’ve tried going into standby mode but that doesn’t make a difference.

Greyed out... are you in 3-way mode? Normal mode?

You may be in dual zone mode... if so, set it to OFF.

Instructions:

Select:
Menu
Audio
Zone Control
Zone Select
Touch single zone and this should turn it off. Check your EQ stuff now and they should work.
