I am curious how close to the mark I am when this all plays out.

Trump has been a PITA for the intel community from the beginning. They had to completely revamp the way they presented intel because he had no regard or patience for it. Then there was the incident where he tweeted out a Top Secret satellite image, so they had to start making photos poster sized or blur them when they presented them, etc. It was known he was hoarding classified files while he was in the WH, that's why as soon as he lost the election there was an immediate concern about what documents he would take from the WH.

IMHO, you're totally off the mark. They'll never prosecute. There is no conspiracy to undermine his campaign because this has done nothing but help Trump with his constituents. This the intel community doing what it needs to do plug a pretty serious intel breech. I don't how they'll handle intel moving forward if he gets re-elected. How do you present intel to a man who can't be trusted with the intel? If they don't present the intel then the intel community becomes the deep state fantasy that Trump dreams about.

Yeah I can't think of anything biden has accomplished in his career I'd go out of my way to praise...

Biden was a centrist democrat for most of his career and worked/sided with conservatives on many issues, gay marriage comes to mind.

Nothing noble about it...I'm against huge deficits that my kid and grandkids (everybody else's too ) are left holding the bag on...having principles should never be consider noble but a normal thing seen everyday...but that ain't the case anymore...

The deficit chaps my hide too. It's just intergenerational wealth transfer and an evil that gets dumped onto children who aren't even born yet.

This likely won't change a thing at all, but here is a document for Thxone that may clear up his ridiculous use of "alleged" every time documents or Top Secret, Confidential, SCI, etc. documents are mentioned.
Unlike broadcast entities, we don't need to use "alleged" to protect ourselves from lawsuits when talking about this stuff.

This is a copy of the receipt signed by Trump's counsel for the items that were removed from MaraLago. It very clearly lists Top Secret documents. This is no "allegation", this is confirmation by an attorney.

Now I guess we will wait for the sidestep that the attorney may have been mistaken, and just signed off on such an important document without reading it. Or maybe that the receipt is only "alleged" to be real. Or some other nonsense...

Do you think signing a receipt for items removed (ESPECIALLY when they are labeled as Top Secret) would be done without a whole lot of careful consideration by an attorney?

under Trump, at least with my cost of living increases we (county employees) were also receiving regular raises on top of it

under Biden, they have gone back to voluntary furloughs and the ONLY increases have come in the form of cost of living which is negated by the current inflation. I commute 40 miles one way.... the gas is utterly killing me on top of it.

Under Trump, i lived comfortable just doing my 8 hours a day and my time off was spent fishing and camping

under Biden, I have gone back to doing side jobs to supplement what im losing and im lucky if i get one day off a week. I havent been fishing in over a year now and my boat just sits in the yard because i dont have the time.

My personal situation and opinion is that i was better off under the administration of an ego maniac who spent all day having twitter wars with celebrities. That's how much Biden sux!

That sure sounds like a negotiation issue with your union and your employer. The POTUS doesn't set wages for county employees. Why would your wages and contract change when Trump was ousted from office? None of the federal monies that go to a county would have changed until Biden got in and started the processes.

Under Biden the amount of recordings have gone down. The Clerk's office makes most of their money off of recordings.

Recording fees go down - revenues go down

Revenues go down - payroll gets harder to meet

We haven't hired a new employee in 10 months either. Everybody here is doing the work of 2 or 3 people.
