Good news. I guess the good folks of AZ deserve a little something for their role in helping get Biden elected.
We are getting buried down here with immigrants. The cartels are loving it. The place where the wall is going up isn’t really going to help much overall. Yuma is collapsing economically so they are basically trying to redirect them to lessen the burden on Yuma social services. They’ll go around the wall and possibly die in my back yard instead now.

If one cop is good are they all good...
Do all surgeon's graduate top of the class
Is it possible for human nature and greed to be prevalent in the scientific community...
It’s prevalent everywhere, but not amongst the majority. And even if it was, you only need ONE whistleblower.

The vast majority of people are innately good. Wouldn’t it be weird if the medical and scientific community just happened to be compromised of all the ones who are bad?
Statistics.

Nobody really believes whistleblowers anymore unless it's helps their "side'...

The cartels are loving our border policy. Another position where the Dems went way too far and now they're losing the Hispanic vote.

He has a point. I'd say it goes beyond whistleblowers, a lot of people have gotten to where they don't believe anything that doesn't fit their political/social narrative. Oath Keeper has a death list which included Jan 6 witnesses, but there are a lot of conservatives who still can't see that the Jan 6th riots was a lot more than just some disgruntled Americans taking a tour of Congress. They see the video the officers letting rioters in, but somehow the rest of the evidence doesn't even register on their radars.

Conversely, BLM and it's "white liberal guilt" supporters saw the George Floyd video and other high profile videos of violent encounters involving blacks and police, but totally miss the bigger picture. Why are the police resorting to violence? Do white criminals who resist arrest and refuse to comply with orders end up face down on the cement with a knee in their neck? Are white criminals shot daily, etc? This is just the new paradigm in America, only the facts that back "my" narrative count and facts, statistics or reasoning to the contrary are to be ignored and dismissed.

They lied to you:

‘“I knew these vaccines were not going to protect against infection. And I think we overplayed the vaccines. And it made people then worry that it’s not going to protect against severe disease and hospitalization,” Birx, the White House COVID-19 response coordinator under former President Donald Trump, said during an appearance on Fox News.’

And many fell for the lies 🤡

Vaccines don't protect against infection. Will the Republicans ever realize this fact?

Clearly. I do think conceding on border security is a step in the right direction. OTOH, it's hard to concede issues to the GOP knowing the current GOP is unwilling to concede an inch and if anything is more and more willing to cater to it's more extreme elements.
Absolutely I wasn't implying they're the only ones...both sides are getting bad...

A good example is the ivermectin debacle. The doc that originally "discovered" that ivermectin works later recanted. His original work was peer reviewed and several issues were brought up, so he continued his work on ivermectin and figured out it didn't work. And of course the fact the Merck Pharma never pursued ivermectin research for FDA approval, which would have been worth billions.

'These genetic databases and genomic technology also make us that much more vulnerable to creeps and cyberstalkers, genetic profiling, and those who would weaponize the technology against us.

Unfortunately, the debate over genetic privacy—and when one’s DNA becomes a public commodity outside the protection of the Fourth Amendment’s prohibition on warrantless searches and seizures—continues to lag far behind the government and Corporate America’s encroachments on our rights.'

Cue the non-sequitur.

Cue the non-sequitur.

‘Researchers were looking for a pattern: any overlap in genetic variants, or mutations in DNA, that patients harbored. The thinking was, if certain mutations were shared among only those who were hospitalized, those changes were likely involved in exacerbating infection and symptoms. After distilling the trove of information, 13 mutations stood out.’

You know how there’s people in the US gov warning about gene collection and genetic based or targeting bioweapons?

‘3. Gene Therapy

Gene therapy involves repairing or replacing a gene of an organism, permanently changing its genetic composition. By replacing existing genes with harmful genes, this technique can be used to manufacture bioweapons (2).’

I’m not a conspiracy theorist for reading scientific and military bioweapon reports that lay out their worries about how a mass bioweapons attack could be implemented, especially since covid came out of a biolab as a gain-of-function warfare virus.
