Do you not believe that a Presidents words carry weight with his followers? Trump only wore a mask after he got **** with Covid. Did he not make fun of Biden for wearing a mask? Come on man. Don't play that bullshitt game. You know what happened.

When Bush was still in office in Jan of 08, Oil prices collapsed due to the financial crisis and gasoline prices followed. In Jan of 09, just before Obama's inauguration, gas prices fell by almost half from the previous year. 1.74 / gallon. That was the lowest price of Obamas term.
Obamas energy policies did nothing to cause prices to fall.
Trump on the other hand, actually did something to lower gas prices under his term. He influenced it by conning Saudi Arabia into increasing production while letting Iran continue to export oil. Trump was pro-active in trying to keep the cost of fuel down

That's not a fair comparison. Gas prices hardly went up under Trump (nationally). Gas prices have ~doubled under Biden. Not that either POTUS had much to with the prices, but still....
