It’ll be interesting to see how it unfolds. I think the end game wanted for cellular technology is immortality of some form. Artificial MRNA is very powerful technology; there’s so many cellular directions that can be made with it.

Maybe not immortality, but I think it can/will be used to fix all sorts of genetic defects and probably to "customize" our offspring. Who knows where it will it go.

I don't know if "they created a bioweapon," but I wouldn't be surprised if this came out of a lab. That said, the flu shot is an annual thing and that's probably the direction Covid will go at least for the next few years.
