‘If there is alien life out there, it might be anything but organic. According to one prominent astrophysicist, aliens could very well be machines.‘

‘In other words, these artificially-created intelligent beings could have taken over the planets of their creators and established themselves as the dominant life form.’

'Nanotechnology is an emerging field with applications in various domains, where nano-biomedical science has many significant contributions such as effective delivery of drugs/therapeutic molecules to specific organs, imaging, sensitive detection of virus, and their accurate tracking in host cells. The nanomaterials reported for virus detection and tracking mainly include magnetic and gold NPs, ZnO/Pt-Pd, graphene, and quantum dots (QDs).'

‘We are developing techniques to place micron-sized sensor chip inside each cell. It might revolutionize biochemical imaging by introducing the concept of replacing “passive” radiotracers with “active” IC chips. This may open up an array of new biomedical applications that range from novel medical diagnostic and therapeutic tools that operate at single cell level to a novel class of autonomously operating intrabody nanobiosensors. These wireless bio-sensors can be used for autonomous, continuous-time, in vivo monitoring.’

‘The Lieber group has played a leading role in defining the fundamental science, engineering and novel technologies at the interface between nanoelectronics and the life sciences, from development of sensors for real-time disease detection, to creating nanoelectronic tools for single cell and subcellular electrophysiology, and the development of novel cyborg cells and hybrid nanoelectronics-innervated tissues.‘

‘Vaccine protection is also wearing off for many people, raising their risk of getting sick. The next round of boosters for over-50s is set for September.‘ 🤡

Wow

‘The Biden administration said it has signed a new agreement with Pfizer and partner BioNTech for 105 million doses of their COVID-19 vaccine for a fall vaccination campaign, with the deal worth $3.2 billion.’

Awww, whoops, Joe Biden forgot to mention this part:

‘Pfizer and Moderna did not design the trials to evaluate long-term efficacy or the more important outcomes of preventing hospitalization, death, or transmission.’

‘There may also be long-term adverse reactions to the vaccine regarding which we do not yet know.‘

🤡

‘Fraiman and colleagues have produced the best evidence yet regarding the overall safety of the mRNA vaccines. The results are concerning.’

‘Daszak, 49, appeared to play a critical role in the origins of COVID-19, as his organization, the ‘EcoHealth Alliance’, facilitated a “longtime” joint research effort with the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which is believed to be the source of the virus. Throughout the pandemic, Daszak also featured prominently in promoting the “natural origins” theory while simultaneously discrediting supporters of the “lab leak” theory, most notably in the role of the World Health Organization (WHO) COVID-19 investigator.

His latest study appears to be yet another controversy. Daszak, who is originally British, is listed as the sole U.S. researcher on the paper: “Identification and Genetic Characterization of MERS-Related Coronavirus Isolated from Nathusius’ Pipistrelle Near Zvenigorod (Moscow Region, Russia).”’

I was researching lipid nanoparticles, and we’re definitely in the future. Lipid nanoparticles are what’s used to carry MRNA into the cells. The covid mRNA shots don’t have graphene in their lipid nanoparticles (hopefully).

'In the second project, the interaction of cell and organelle membranes (lipid bilayers) with nanoelectronics can enable new technologies to sense and measure electrophysiology in qualitatively new ways. To date, a variety of sensing devices have been demonstrated to measure membrane currents through macroscopic numbers of ion channels. However, nanoelectronic based sensing of single ion channel currents has been a challenge. Here, we report graphene-based field-effect transistors combined with supported lipid bilayers as a platform for measuring, for the first time, individual ion channel activity.'

This blew my mind 😳

There’s scientists trying to monitor the electrical currents in cells or at that small of a level.

‘This perspective review focuses on graphene-based biosensors for quantitative detection of cancer-related biomarkers such as DNA, miRNA, small molecules and proteins by integrating with different signal outputting approaches including fluorescent, electrochemistry, surface plasmon resonance, surface enhanced Raman scattering, etc.’

‘A variety of graphene-based immunoelectrochemical biosensors are constantly being developed for sensitive detection of cancer-related proteins.’

mRNA probably holds the key to how we'll defeat cancer.

‘But at the same time, non-fatal reinfections are piling up. Around half a billion people all over the world have caught COVID more than once, according to Al-Aly, Bowe and Xie’s study, citing data from the Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center. Many more reinfections, including “breakthrough” infections in the fully vaccinated, are likely as new variants and subvariants of COVID evolve to partially evade our antibodies.’
