that 6pac is not mine it belongs to drugs. and yes we have had it metered. since we got the new boxes in it peaks out @ 158. not bad really. you should have seen what we had to do to that car to get the new boxes in. drugs gave me the wrong measurements so when he came to pick them up we were off by a little less that an inch, but an inch can go a long way when you are craming a trunk full of subs. we tore out the pannells and broke out the five pound sledge. not my brightest day but a little hidden "body work" and we got them in.
me i am running two rfd 2210's, two rfz3415's two p110s4's and two p112s4's. i've got the 6x9's pictured, a pair of k65's, so much for product loyalty, and five sets of tweeters.
lol, 158 is a little loud for my listening pleasure... Im happy with the 150.3 I hit. Although if I throw in the Digital Designs 9915b I would be closer to the 158.....
i.m not sure he really wanted it that loud, but that's the way it turned out. i mean the subs are only 99.00 per pair so the real investment was the 1001bd. i love rf amps though. the thd on their amps is some of the lowest in the industry
in my comment about sealed, i said kinda like tuning. and yeah..changing the size of the sealed box will help a sub play lower or sound punchier by making the box smaller...and yep..there is limits to the size change that still sound good.
now on to the ported box...i talked to a memphis sales rep (not retailer) and he said as to the phase arguement we are both correct. so i stand partially corrected, and for that i apologize for arguing.
as to the sound reflection not cancellation...that is indeed the proper term for what i was trying to explain..again from the memphis rep..and from u above...so again, i was just partially correct.
i guess this ends our arguement, and with that i'll say this....u learn something new everyday.
