i would def. mount the amp elsware to get rid of the problem.
your kinda in a tight spot with hiding them there.

I SAY MAKE THE WIRING INTERNAL !!! OH A SONY AMP HMMM.. A PIONEER AMP WILL BE BATTER THEN THE SONY!!! BUT IF YOU LIKE SONY THEN OK!! ALSO FOR THE BOX MAKE IT BIGER AND TRY TO MAKE THE AMP HIGHT LEVAL AS THE SUB'S LEVAL .BUY RED LIGHT'S FOR 10-15$ PUT THEM UNDER THE AMP AND IN THE PORTS AFTER THAT YOU WILL HAVE A RELLY GOOD LOOKING SYSTEM!! (THE LIGHT'S IN THE PORT WILL LIGHT THE BACK OF THE YOUR TRUK MAN IT WILL LOOK COOOL TRUST ME!! )

Good internal wiring are always batter!!but try to do the other things i siad IF you have the time to do them you will like the out come!!
