dang that seems high for a pair of type-s 10's and boxes that look like they have air gapping out through seems.

bass mekanik....where was the mic? what mic? any pics?

also im building a box for my type-s 10s...190 rms each...2.2ft^3 per sub tuned to 35hz....whatcha think?

SPL_positions

mekanik at work again... this guy's constantly trying to aim for 145dB...

my aussie gf was right... tassie blokes are insane :p

SPL_positions

was on a linearX PCRTA if i make the boxes as one i will lose alot of spl trust me i have tryed that 1 because i can't have the angles and 2 because i need separate chambers for the subs to work well and the score was on the dash and if i move the boxes even half an inch in any direction i lose about 0.3 of a decibel

then i guess it's time for you to bolt the boxes down at last...

how many watts RMS are ya givin em for daily driving? also what do you think of my box plan ^^previous post**

a ported type s for daily IMO is not a good idea unless you are able to go around testing different sized boxes and port configurations cause it is not worth the effort to do it.

i only used these subs as daily cause i can't be bothered spending another $16 on T-nuts to put the subs in the boxes and i have the terminals glued into this box leaving a 4" hole in the old boxes.

they are getting 350 rms each @ 12 volts and 400 rms each @ 13.8 volts and that is at a very low THD% as well so it is all good but last nite during testing i blew the gasket out of the right sub and i gotta fix it for in the morning cause i got a comp to win
