nope, b/c bass has nothing to reflect off of.... i think it maybe louder at a distance like if u were out of the car b/c then it'll use the whole inside of the car to refect off of, but really it sounds better faced the other way - so i turned them back around
was a lot better w/box the other way, just wanted to test it for myself so then now i'll know what to say when people want to know abotu which way to face a sub.
