update 6-14-03 Well its been over six months since I bought my system and it still isnt done, about a month ago I got my cpcc25 (25 farad cap), but I am still waitin on my 2 RFxa7's. Through the grapevine I heard the main designer of the amps quit working for RF a few weeks before the final testing was done (back in April). I also heard there were only a few others in Arizona the were capable of taking over his position. So the wait continues, Ive contemplated getting my money back and throwing in 2 RF BD1501's just to get my system done. So I dont know what to do??? I talked to a RF tech support rep yesterday, and his words were "I am pretty sure the amps are in production as we speak." Back in May I was given an ETA of 6-17 as the shipping date. Who knows, the product sales rep put a date of 7-15 in the stores computer 2 weeks ago, and then took the date out of the computer Thursday 6-12. Is this it am I finally going to get my amps? What to do what to do? Honestly, its gotten to the point where Im not even excited about having a system.
7-26-03 Well I finally did it I cancelled my order for my 2 RFxa7's as my order was taking way to long, so what I did instead was go with 2 RFx6's which are similar to the RF 1001BD's but of higher quality. I figured I would sacrifice the extra wattage and keep the the higher quality as opposed to going with 2 1501BD's. I bought the amps off the internet at onlinecarstereo.com and they are on there way via 2 Day Air. I will keep you posted.
thats a sweet ass truck. i also have an 02 xtreme blazer. Sittin on 22's with 2 13w7s that just got installed. I like the idea of incorporating the paint scheme onto the box as well. Keep up the good work. Id like to see pics of the finished product.
