I have the 12"s runnin.. pretty damn nice so far.. but only have a 2 volt pre-amp.. getting an Alpine CDA 7892 (on order, waiting for it to get here).. That should help (was only able to get 312 watts at 35 Hz to the 12"s.. made my teeth vibrate!).. I also have some filters comming (inline FMODs, should bee here soon as well), and once I get those I'll have the 10"s running too.. Working on getting the rest of the pics of the temp install up (temp as in gonna glass the speakers in eventually)..
but, they pound pretty damn hard.. when I get a clean punch from a song, you KNOW it.. feels like someone is kicking me through the back of the seat!
I now have the 10"s running as well.. the bottom end is totally filled in.. depending on the song, the bass seems damn tight and accurate.. not sure about all songs.. some bass seems to vibrate, if that makes any sense.. but that could be the song. Also, the JVC *****.. I have an Alpine comming, that should clean it up a LOT (has a bass pre-out versus the single pre-amp of the JVC, and a 160 low pass that should help)..
Anyway, on the 100 amp alternator I have, it beats pretty good for me (considering the price). Once I get a bigger alt, I'm sure I can beat the hell out it all
