Hi,

I just bought a HD149BT HU and I want to install it this weekend. HU will be installed in a Honda. I just need some clarification. I only have a front speaker and a sub with 2 amps... one for each. On the alpine harness I see a yellow cable that says battery and on my honda harness I also see a yellow cable that says 12v battery. Should I connect both together?

Also as for ground both the alpine and honda harness have a black ground cable.. should I also connect them together?

Thanks

Ive doubled up 12 ga many times for sub wiring.. even 14 ga for speaker wiring. Its OFC and it should do great and save you some money since you...

My brain hurts just looking at those diagrams. It's late so if anyone sees a problem with either of those, please feel free to chime in!

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
