Sundown Z v.2. Its a 1500 RMS driver. Very good all around.

I suggest either the DD's or DC's, i think DD's would like that 35 Hz tuning.

how much power can the DDs take though? im planning on 1200watts per sub

if you're talking lvl4 xl vs hdc3, its probably close. if you're talking regular lvl4 vs hdc3, the aqs should trounce them and still have room to add power.

Agreed. Although in my experience with the hdc's it took a good 2k to really wake them up and play at thier potential. On a single 1200(Which we all know will be less than that in real world envirionment) the lvl 4 is gonna shine better and get lower in the process.

i agree with thor, i do know that the HDC3s need some good power to get loud, as the lvl 4s get loud on less watts needed to get the hdc3s loud.. 1200rms per sub, or strapped @ 2 ohms, same power either way basically

im leaning more towards the dc lvl4s right now, anyone else have any input? any other sub suggestions?

i would love to do this, just cant afford to power 3500+ RMS daily with my electrical.. im gonna add a batt or so would like to keep stock alt for now, my alt is hard as **** to replace due to it being in the middle of the engine block on the bottom (shitty place, only on a 2.2l, others are right up in the back.. i would need a mech to swap it for me $60/hr on top of the alt price, which cheapest ive seen is 379 for a 200amp alt, would add up)
