What ohm should my Almani 12' s7 3000 watts subs should be on??

hey guys, i just got my two 12" almanis s7 3000 watts each subs.. and I had a quick question about what Ohm am i suppose to be running on?? I want it to sound nice and loud with alot bass slapping it really HARD. I know these subs can go up to any where from 1 ohm to 8 ohms.. I think they are on 2 ohms right now. I'm using a quantum 4000 watts amp with these two 12" almanis. Anybody know a good stable amp that will go along with these subs??

Surely not..

If you're serious I suggest you spend a week reading all the info you can find before you hurt yourself or your equipment.

Wire them to one ohm, you get twice the power out of the amp if you turn the gain and bass boost all the way up. If you have a strong alternator you can reverse the phase on the power inputs (swap your power and ground around) and itll give you more output also. Be sure to take pics/vids of the install

1ohm on each sub? which will equal to 2 ohm both subs? or both subs should equal to 1ohm together??

i believe your subs are dual voice coil 2 ohm subs, so together you can either wire them to 2 ohms or 8 ohms. You want a amp that puts out anywhere from 2000 rms(not peak) to 3000 rms at 2 ohms. Go to Basic Car Audio Electronics and do some reading on subs and voice coils and amps and impedances.

those quantum audio 4000s are about 1800rms each of class a/b amp you better have a pair of good rear batterys with 0 gauge running thruout. i doubt a stock alt will keep up with that much high current amp...

x2 ive delt with this amp personally and it is power hungry and overrated
