Ill be running a two channel a/b amp at 200rms per channel @ 4 ohms, and later on another amp probably around 1000rms for a sub... would 4 gauge be acceptable to replace the stock "big 3" wires with?

This is in a 2001 toyota 4runner.

4awg is acceptable but most that bother to upgrade the "Big 3" at all go ahead and do it in 1/0awg to eliminate the need for redoing it at some future point should you upgrade to bigger amps down the road.

theres not much much reason not to do it with anything but 0 gauge
Ya, except money....

Im poor, been waiting for nearly a year just to get the amp to power my speakers, and I finally ordered it tonight. Now I need wiring etc. Its tough.
