what doesnt make sense? its more surface area for more saturation.I guess these guys know what they're doing, just doesn't seem to make sense from a physical standpoint. But if they picked this design over the v1s round motor, maybe they're on to something.
why not? i dont see anyone bitching about kickers square motors? they probably use the square motor to get higher levels of saturation..The other parts of the sub are round...
Why make the motor square? Looks goofy
the top-plate and t-yoke are round, there is more surface area and higher saturation can be achievedYeah, but I don't see why they would design the motor that way. Seems like the magnetic field would be weird, and not focused as well.
Since when has Kicker made a square motor?why not? i dont see anyone bitching about kickers square motors? they probably use the square motor to get higher levels of saturation..
More surface area than just making a bigger circle? Seems dumb to methe top-plate and t-yoke are round, there is more surface area and higher saturation can be achieved
you can ask sean on any design and specifics on his woofer.Since when has Kicker made a square motor?
They had square subs, and there is much better stuff out there.
